IMPORTANT: THOSE OWNERS WITH SOUND ETHICS AND A LIFE LONG DEDICATION TO THE SAFETY AND PROTECTION OF THEIR DOG AND THE APBT AS A BREED, NEED HAVE NO CONCERN OR FEAR OF THIS CONTRACT.

HOWEVER, THIS IS A SERIOUS CONTRACT DESIGNED TO PROTECT PRIMARILY THE PUPPY, BUT ALSO THE BREEDER. WE ARE PLACING OUR KENNEL NAME IN THE HANDS OF YOU THE PROUD NEW OWNERS & THE BREED (WHICH IS IN DANGER FROM UNETHICAL BREEDERS AND UNCARING OWNERS). YOU WANT A PUPPY TO HAVE EXCELLENT TEMEPRAMENT, CONFORMATION AND HEALTH.

*WE OFFER DISCOUNTS AND OTHER BENEFITS TO THOSE WHO SHOW OUR PUPPIES*

1. The buyer is to pay a $200 non-refundable deposit on the puppy. Should the buyer decide not to purchase the puppy the deposit can be rolled over to another litter.

2. Payment is required in full once the pups are 7 weeks old. They must be picked up unless being shipped by me. At 8 weeks of age, if you have not picked up your pup or made arrangements to pick up, a $10.00 per day boarding fee will be charged. When pup is 12 weeks old and you still have not picked up your pup, the pup will be up for sale again. Only the boarding fee will be returned, communication is the key.

3. This APBT is NOT to be used for or bred for any fighting purposes or any other illegal activities. If SBK suspects abuse, the dog will be confiscated and NO monies returned, proper authorities notified and charges filed.

4. Under no circumstances is the above dog to be sold or given to anyone without first contacting TK. The first person to be offered the APBT is SBK. If interests are denied by SBK, then the whereabouts of the APBT must be expressed to the breeder by the buyer. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. NO exceptions.

5. Breeding of this animal to a non-registered animal will not be tolerated in order to keep the soundness of the breed. Any breeding to a non-registered dog will result in violation of this contract and will give SBK the right to confiscate the dog and no monies returned to the buyer. This will be at the discretion of SBK.

6. Buyer agrees to notify the seller of any address, phone number or email changes.

7. Buyer also agrees to provide pictures and keep updates to the breeder at least once a year.

8. Buyer agrees to treat the dog humanely, give proper and prompt veterinary care, adequate food and water, proper shelter from the elements and plenty of exercise and love. SBK reserves the right to inspect the living conditions of the dog at any time. If upon inspection, the conditions are unsatisfactory, the breeder shall notify the owner of changes to be made IMMEDIATELY. If conditions persist, the confiscated by SBK and no monies will be returned to the buyer. At that time all rights to the dog will be relinquished back to the breeder.

9. If the above mentioned APBT earns a conformation title (such as Champion), $50 shall be refunded to the owner. This title refund does not apply if SBK does the handling. (This refund does not apply to co-onwed dogs).

10. At the time of delivery this described APBT is free from any communicable disease and is in good health. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have the dog examined by a licensed vet within 7 days of receipt. If the dog is considered ill by 2 or more vets in writing, then a full refund(excluding shipping) either by money or any other pup/dog will be given at the breeders discretion. After 7 days, the communicable disease guarantee is void.

11. As the breeder of the described APBT it is guarantied to be free of any life threating genetic defects. If a life threating hereditary health problem (which must be proven hereditary by a licensed vet) appears in life, SBK shall be notified and the dog shall be returned to SBK and replaced by a puppy from a different breeding when suitable by the breeder,SBK. Breeder is not responsible for health problems from negligence in regards to proper vaccines and proper vet care.

12. The APBT registered name is to include Southern Blood Kennels or SBK in the registered name on the official papers from the UKC and ADBA for the life of the dog and is not to be deleted from any advertisements. Furthermore, the dog is not to be registered with any other registries other then the ones listed above.

13. If this is a co-owner agreement the party described as the buyer is responsible for a portion of the show entry fees, (amount of buyer responsibility will be decided on an individual basis).

14. Female will not be bred before their 2nd heat cycle and for no reason will be bred more then 4 times. If the buyer chooses to breed a female she must be spayed after 4 litters. All females will be given 1 heat cycle between litters to recover.

**If there is a breech of this contract at any time and court action results, all court costs and lawyer fees will be paid by the party described as the buyer**

SHOW CONTRACT TERMS IF APPLICABLE:

1. The dog shall be shown at least twice a year until the dog achieves a champion title in conformation.

2. If the dog recieves a title then showing becomes buyer's discretion.

3. If the dog recieves a title (such as champion), $50 shall be refunded to the owner. This title refund does not apply if SBK does the handling or if this is a co-owner contract.

4. Buyer shall notify SBK when the dog will start being shown.

THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS HAVE BEEN READ AND ARE COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED UPON BY ALL PARTIES INCLUDED IN THIS CONTRACT. ALL PARTIES UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A LEGAL AND BINDING CONTRACT.
